Dealing with Kareem DaSilva has been one of the worst business experiences I have had. He is deceptive, dishonest and does not deliver what he claims. I wish I had read reviews on google before paying for his services. After several calls , sending him web addresses as examples and explaining what I wanted Kareem insisted on doing what he wanted. He would tell me what was industry standards instead of listening to what I wanted. When we went over the site on teams how he showed me the site layout and how it actually was were 2 completely different things. The heading were not how I asked, or how he displayed it to me, I asked for the front page to display food which it does not, (but in the calls it playing a video I sent him) some of the links go to error pages, the ones that are connected go to incorrect links or ones not matching the title, He said he would created a format for the menus and I just needed to send them to him. The menus I sent him were copied straight from the page and not even arraigned in an even manner. Some of the menus start mid page, some the end of the page, the format is completely off. The updated bio I sent him was not used, instead he took one from my old website. I began the project the beginning of June, towards the end of June he told me he would have to finish up my 6 week project by July 1st because he was doing a major project for a Fortune 500 company and would not have time. The last call we had be tried to tell me the site was basically complete. When he finally sent me a link to actually view my site, which he was reluctant to do, I got to see what it really looked like. I sent Kareem a text asking him would he pay $1000 for the site, he told me I was being mean, he was a man and he had emotions too and I could find someone else to do it. He also told me my $400 I put up was non refundable and gave me an expired link to what I had already paid for. He alsowent into a rant about how he worked in robotics, was one of the top tech people in the city, worked for fortune 500 companies, he was very arrogant for what he could actually deliver. After all this he and I agreed to try to get the site done due to the fact he knows someone close to me. After sending him multiple screenshots of what was wrong, he wanted me to go inch by inch on a word document with what was wrong. This is after several calls, several examples and several weeks. If I am spending $1000 for your services I should not have to correct your work, like an elementary school teacher. As a web designer you should be able to see the links are not connected or connected to the wrong links, the menus are off and not presented how you said they would be, or the format is off. After our last texts i decided I just did not want to do business with him anymore. He has not responded to texts or emails since that time. Kareems behavior was very chauvinistic, arrogant and he cannot deliver what he promises.
