FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer complimentary consultations for most residential projects. This allows us to understand your goals, review the space, and provide realistic options and pricing. These consultations can be onsite, via Zoom or via email for those who have details on exactly what they want. For larger or more complex projects, we may recommend a paid design or planning phase, which is always discussed upfront. Our pricing is transparent and based on scope, materials, labor, and project complexity. We provide clear written estimates so clients understand exactly what’s included. We do not believe in surprise costs or vague allowances.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We keep the process straightforward and well-communicated from start to finish. We start with an initial conversation to understand your goals, timeline, budget range, and the scope of work. This may be a phone call, video call, or on-site visit depending on the project. Next, we review the space, confirm measurements, discuss materials and options, and outline any technical considerations. Based on that, we provide a clear written estimate so you understand exactly what’s included. Once approved, we schedule the work, order materials, and coordinate all labor and logistics. You’ll have a clear point of contact throughout the project and regular updates as work progresses. At completion, we walk the space with you, address any final items, and make sure everything meets expectations before closing out the project. Our goal is a professional experience with no surprises — clear scope, steady communication, and quality results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team combines formal training with decades of hands-on industry experience. We’ve completed manufacturer and product-specific training across flooring, window treatments, installation best practices, and remodeling systems, and we stay current on building codes, installation standards, and materials as they evolve. Beyond technical training, our leadership team brings strong project management and client-service discipline to every job. That means projects are planned, communicated, and executed professionally — not improvised in the field. Most importantly, our installers and trade partners are experienced professionals who work to established standards, not shortcuts. We believe good outcomes come from proper training, clear processes, and accountability on every project.
