FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically offer packages that work on a monthly subscription. Because I am a board-certified coach via the NBHWC, I can accept FSA/HSA as payment as well. Ask me for more information!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is structured enough to give you a clear path forward, but flexible enough to actually fit your life. Step 1: Free Consultation We start with a no-pressure conversation to get to know each other, talk about where you are right now, and make sure coaching feels like the right fit. No prep needed — just show up and be honest. Step 2: Intake and Assessment Once you decide to move forward, I send over a brief intake to get a fuller picture of your health history, goals, and what's gotten in the way before. I also use a few simple tools to help us understand how you're wired — including how you tend to respond to expectations, which shapes everything about how we work together. Step 3: Goal Setting and Planning In our first session we dig into what you actually want, not just the surface goal but what's underneath it. We build a realistic plan together, one that accounts for your real life, your energy patterns, and any barriers we already know are there. Step 4: Ongoing Coaching Sessions Sessions are where the real work happens. We check in on progress, troubleshoot what isn't working, adjust the plan as needed, and keep building momentum. Nothing gets left to willpower alone. Step 5: Sustainable Progress The goal is never perfection. It's building enough consistency that the changes stick long after we stop working together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master of Science in Lifestyle Health Sciences and Coaching from the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) and am nationally board certified as a Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). I'm also a certified nutritionist with specialized training in ADHD coaching and mental health-informed coaching practices, including supervised hours in mental health settings. My coaching approach is grounded in evidence-based behavior change, positive psychology, and whole-person wellness — frameworks I've built on through years of applied practice and ongoing professional development. As a NBC-HWC, I'm required to maintain continuing education credits to keep my certification current, which means my knowledge base is always evolving. I take that seriously and pursue education that directly serves my clients. Most recently, I've been completing a specialization in AI applications for health and wellness, exploring how emerging technology can ethically and effectively support coaching outcomes — and just as importantly, where human connection and accountability can't be replaced. I believe a good coach never stops learning. My clients benefit from that commitment every time we meet.
