FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hello Thumbtack community! Here are all of my details.... I live in Agoura Hills and have a custom built gym/studio that I train my clients in. Clients come to me as I have all of the equipment and space necessary. I do have pictures attached to my profile of my custom built space. My prices are pretty much set in stone, as my space is completely custom and it takes thoughtful time to not only formulate and structure a workout that fits the individual but also a lot of time and effort to clean and run my space efficiently. The best way to maximize and save are through packages. I offer single session rates, but those are more expensive. Buying a package in bulk and paying upfront gives you a discount. My prices are as follows: Single Session Rate- (payment owed each time after session is complete) $105/hour Package Pricing- Option 1: Almost a 15% discount 2x/week 8 session package $90/hour - $720 total Option 2: 24% discount 3x/week 12 session package $80/hour - $960 total Package Specifics- - access to complimentary nutrition and clean eating tips and tricks based on the individual’s specific needs and lifestyle - full assessment and progress check ins - payment made upfront and in full - commitment to completing the monthly package within a 4-6 week timeframe from time of payment/first start session - sessions must start within 1 weeks time of full payment - cancellation policy applies to all clientele (package & single session clients) I do offer each new client(s) one free trial session for potential package buyers. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach back out. Best in Health, Alexa Mind to Body Fitness, Inc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first and foremost have clients fill out a detailed questionnaire and waiver so that I may understand their background- i.e., any medical conditions, physical ailments, impairments, past and current injuries, current and furture goals and explanation of their previous fitness journey that lead them to this point. My typical process is that I run them through a series of functional movement exercises and tests to assess their range of motion, and any/all muscular strengths/limitations to get a full understanding of their body's movement functions and capabilities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from NDNU in Belmont California. I have been trained in Lagree Pilates Reformer, Strength Conditioning, Barre Method/Sculpt, Kickboxing and Boxing conditioning, TRX Suspension Training, & HIIT training. I also have 10+ years of experience in the group fitness and personal training realm; 7+ of those years living in and providing fitness for my community of Westlake Village/Agoura Hills, California.
