FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The day I realize I was a makeup artist was at age 8. I bought a pink and blue palette from a department store and thought of myself as the bee's knees. When I realized that I wanted to do makeup for a living started around the time I was planning out my own wedding. I browsed through magazines, and bought makeup in the lines of what I wanted my makeup to look like. I played with different forms of foundations and eyeliner and shadows. I found the beauty in mixing different colors to create one color. It was perfect timing that around this same time my younger brother also got serious about his photography and together we made art. I would do the model's makeup and he would take incredible photos. In the end, I knew this was a passion.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in Bridal, editorial, glamour and agency makeup. I've worked with various people, models and industry professionals such as photographers, designers, videographers and stylists.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
As a makeup artist, I do my best to stay competive both in the services I offer and the way I price my services. I get to know each client on a personal level so that I may provide them the look they're going for. I use only the highest quality of makeup and take every step to make sure everything I use and apply is sanitary.
