Mrs. Schneider is the sweetest and most professional instructor ever. She is always on time and my son really enjoys his lessons. She encourages him to practice and cheers him when he shows what he has learned. We are super happy and grateful to have Mrs. Schneider as my son’s piano instructor.

Not only that Mrs. Schneider is such a very patient music teacher, she also is very encouraging. She really promotes relaxed learning ambience, no wonder my son likes her a lot---- and I thought students are very good judges of teacher quality. 😊
I have to say she is such a blessing, I wish I had found her on Thumbtack way sooner. My son had his very first piano recital just days ago and we couldn't be more proud for obviously he has learned a lot in just under a year of study. We are very pleased with his progress. Mrs. Schneider was born to teach.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are $70 an hour or $40 for a half hour lesson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the first lesson we discuss student goals, learning approaches, agree on the lesson schedule, and begin lessons. Payment arrangements are explained and agreed on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I performed with the Los Medanos Baroque Ensemble for 4 years playing piano and harpsichord and was accompanist for a local church. I was a student of Nancy Bachmann for 8 years at Los Medanos College studying piano and music theory. Previous to my studies with Ms. Bachmann, I studied piano and theory at San Jose State University. My early studies were with Ella Hermann in Minneapolis.
I played with the Los Medanos Baroque Ensemble, local churches and for various school productions.
I have studied privately and taken studio classes since I was young. I have played in a variety of venues the latest being with the Los Medanos Baroque Ensemble. I have also studied harmony, ear-training and sight reading.
