FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unfortunately, my pricing is not standard for the following reasons. The my labor is determined on the hours that required to finish a project. The amount of hours are determined the level of difficulty of the project. The price on the equipment is determined by the supply house. I do provide a senior and veteran discount. Unfortunately, I don't have financing at this point.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Since I do have a full time job, I try communicate with a potential customer and find out their availability time to inspect and survey the home where the project is going to be. Once the times have been determined, I go and inspect the home, take many notes and explain to the customer that they will receive a quote within forty-eight hours (48 hrs) of the visit. I will also include many options so that the customer can make a final decision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The main type of education I have is "on hands training" by other professionals in the trade. I began my career as a helper, became a leader, had my own crew and then obtained a license (C-20) in the area of HVAC. I am still attending classes offered by IHACI which is the Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries. This organization trains professionals like myself so that new technology can be introduced to us and we can move with the technology. Hence, offering the best available options to our customers. This organization is also responsible for NATE certification which is North American Technician Excellence certificate. This certificate is a way to ensure consumer are dealing with a professional in the field.
