Introduction: I have recently transitioned from a wedding and portrait photographer and will no longer be shooting weddings. My style as wedding photographer carries over to my portrait work which is artistic, intuitive and photojournalistic. I strive to capture the essence of who you are in a relaxed atmosphere, and my manner and sense of humor encourage my clients to enjoy the experience with minimal tension.
I recently created a studio space in my beautiful home in the Atascadero hills, surrounded by acres of oaks and serenity. You can choose to have your photos taken in the studio, outside on the grounds, at your home or at a location of your choice.

Donna Johnson is an amazing photographer. She makes us sooo happy! She was my wedding photographer and has since taken multiple family pictures, as well as beautiful maternity and newborn photos of all three of my children. She knows how to capture the really sweet, candid moments that you rarely get. I don't think we are very photogenic and she makes us look like models!
She is super flexible and patient. She does quality work, amazing edits, and is just darn right talented.
I highly recommend her!

Donna is an amazing photographer! She captures every milestone in life (wedding, friendship, pregnancy, newborn, family pictures) with grace, magic and beauty! I cry every time I see the moments she captures of our family! She is personal, attentive and honest...giving you the look and experice you desire in a photographer! She also restores (and fixes) old or poorly taken photos with her insane photoshopping skills! I am always delighted with her work!

Donna was great! She was helpful and kind while facilitating our family photos. With a toddler, 3 month old and a dog I was not going to get my hopes up but it was wonderful. She accommodated our nap schedule and took great pictures even during the middle of the day. We got a great variety of pictures with vibrant color and smiling faces. She even took the time to edit my hair because the wind picked up. Thank you Donna our family photo wall looks wonderful and so do my baby announcements!

Donna has done all of our family portraits, my daughter's wedding and my granddaughter's newborn and 6 month pictures. Donna is a photographer who spontaneously captures the moment and makes you feel very comfortable. We have been extremely satisfied with our experience and look forward to many more.
