FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer transparent, flat-rate diagnostic fees and competitive hourly pricing for maintenance and repairs. Because I focus on technical efficiency and teaching-level precision, I aim to get the job done right the first time, saving you money on future call-backs. I provide written estimates before any work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My Step-by-Step Service Process 1. Initial Discovery & Consultation I start with a brief phone or message consultation to understand your specific symptoms (HVAC sounds, electrical trips, etc.). Because of my background in theory, I can often help you identify if it’s an emergency or a simple fix before I even arrive. 2. On-Site Diagnostic (The "Instructor" Approach) When I arrive, I perform a thorough technical evaluation. Unlike a "parts-changer," I use my 7 years of teaching experience to find the root cause of the failure using precision meters and tools. 3. Transparent Briefing Before any tools are turned, I explain exactly what I found. I’ll show you the failed component, explain why it failed, and provide you with a clear, upfront quote. No surprises, no hidden fees. 4. Precision Repair & EPA Compliance I perform the repair to the highest technical standards. If I’m working on your AC, I ensure full EPA 608 compliance—protecting your system’s efficiency and the environment. 5. System Testing & Education Once fixed, I don't just leave. I test the entire system to ensure everything is balanced. I’ll also give you a few "pro-tips" on how to maintain your equipment to prevent the same issue from happening again
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am EPA 608 Universal Certified, which legally qualifies me to handle all types of refrigerants. Additionally, I have served as an HVAC and Electrical Instructor for 7 years, teaching beginners the core principles of electrical theory, refrigeration cycles, and system troubleshooting.
