I have had five yoga instructors in the 3+ years I have been practicing yoga, and Erica is by far the best. She explains moves clearly, provides options so you can make the workout as challenging as you like or accommodate physical limitations, and emphasizes being non-judgmental (of yourself or others). She varies her routines to keep them interesting but keeps in the basic yoga poses. It seems to me that the reason she is such a good instructor is that yoga is not just a sidelight for her--it's a way of life.Nov 12, 2015
Instructor seemed like a natural! Very willing to work with you and your own pace, providing modifications and a soothing voice to listen to as well as creating an intimate, comforting space making you feel like your healing is her priority.Mar 18, 2015

When i first began my journey with Erica i didn't know what to expect. As soon as i entered her class she makes you feel welcomed at ease and relaxed. I felt comfortable at the end of the class i was super relaxed my tension was released. Happy camper. High five highly recommended her class. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First I'd like to meet via Skype, FaceTime or in person to go over liability form that can be signed at our first session. Then we set appointment days and times with frequency of once to thrice per week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Current student at Loyola Marymount attending a graduate yoga studies certificate program. Yoga, mindfulness and social change is a 10 month program introducing the interconnectedness of the universe and its inhabitants as well as how we may use yoga and the mindfulness practices to create change within various populations who have been known to benefit greatly.
