- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Although I always try to be the most affordable editing service, my charges differ from client to client depending on the content needed and the amount of time it will take me. For instance, if you have 20 minutes of footage and you need me to cut it down to 5 with no effects, music or sound editing. I will be able to complete that quickly and for the most part won't charge more that 200$. However if you have 10 hours of editing from a wedding and you want an hour wedding video with effects, music, voiceovers and photo montages, you'll be looking at a much higher charge closer to 700$
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am still in education studying Creative Media and Creative Digital Editing, giving me an edge of the latest technologies and editing trends.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always give a descriptive brief of what you want from the editor. If you don't give them enough information they will make a film that is completely different from what you were expecting.
