Mohammad was a great tutor. I went to him 3 years ago when I was taking Trigonometry for the first time. My teacher had a thick accent and I was having trouble understanding the concepts. You how it is in a community college, the quarter goes by so fast! Before I knew it, midterm was around the corner and I didnt understand the concepts and formulas well enough. Mohammad was a tutor in the tutorial services at my community college. The first time I went to him, he broke down the basic concepts of Trigonometry in very simple terms and taught me some mnemonic tactics to remember the formulas better. Of course I had to study everything that he taught me but I was able to solve the problems only after Mohammad helped me build my basis of knowledge and my confidence in learning it. He really provides you with personalized attention and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Mohammad is a personable tutor who works to your strengths and is very patient. Algebra was straight forward and easy to learn, but Geometry took a bit of work to be successful at. Geometry is very spatial and usually uses figures with the problems. I was having trouble understanding how the diagrams and formulas worked together, so we worked on my problem solving the most. Mohammad helped me build my confidence, and to an international student that is an important trait to build for future success. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a personalized tutor who will work to your strengths and learning style.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are $30 per hour, additional $10 if I have to travel to you. The rates are negotiable depending on how bad a student's financial condition is.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Tutoring amalgamates two of my passions: helping others and keeping my knowledge refreshed at all times by teaching it to others.
What types of customers have you worked with?
A lot of the times, I get hired by students who are coming back to school to refresh/learn concepts of basic math. I take a lot of pride in enabling those individuals to fastrack their learning process.
