A little bit about me. I started a home renovation business in a different state. I ended up moving back to California and now I do handyman services and paint murals here in the Bay Area. I have renovated many full homes. Everything from plumbing, electrical, tile, carpet, hardwood floors, painting, fixtures, cabinets, counter tops, window installation, window repair, cutting glass, trim, landscaping, cement, drainage, hauling and the list goes on. Just about anything that has to do with a home I’ve done. I love complicated meticulous tasks that take immense attention to detail. I always aim for perfection with cost in mind. I get the job done fast and truly enjoy the work. In addition to my handyman skills I’ve developed I also have a passion for art and I’ve been successfully painting commissioned art murals and oil paintings on canvas and everything in between. I had a gate door that was urgently in need of repair. Most every quote or handyman I had encountered didn’t think it could be repaired or went on to quote me before even getting a n understanding of what I was looking for. Rory from the start simply asked and responded in confidence to my request and it had also helped to see his raving reviews and previous work. It was an absolute pleasure to have hired Rory to repair my gate. The gate had gone from being blown off the hinges, and later kicked in by someone attempting to break into the property. After a single visit from Rory, the gate is now looking good and honestly better then it had before. Rory took his time and made sure the work was done properly while also bringing into consideration the amount of time he took to keep costs within reason. He takes his work seriously and certainly takes pride in what he does. Rory is incredibly kind and I definitely plan to work with him again if I need future repairs done. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$75 an hour for labor cost on most jobs. Not including materials. 2 hour minimum charge on all jobs. If its a large project discounts may be applicable. no hidden fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Message me with photos and a description of what you would like and we'll set a time to start the project. If its a large project a visual meeting of the job site may be necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have bought and flipped homes and apt complexes. Fully renovated homes old and new. Kitchens and bathrooms and everything in between.
