FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually quote by the 1/2 day, which includes up to 4 hours of shoot time, along with my camera and audio equipment. I also have a studio featuring lights and seamless backdrops, which is available for interviews, testimonials, product shots, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For videography, I usually have a quick phone or email consultation with the client, to discuss project details. I'll make recommendations and take care of any logistical concerns so that everything is ready for the shoot on the scheduled date. For editing, my typical workflow consists of obtaining footage and other media from the client (usually over DropBox or Google Drive), discussing the client's ideas and expectations, and then very quickly producing a rough cut for initial feedback. Then, I make any necessary changes, polish up the sound and finer details, do any necessary color work, and export the final video in whatever format the client needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Film Production from Boston University. I am professionally trained and experienced in industry standard practices for film, video, and television production.
