A few years ago I was looking to repaint my house. I turned to Adam Rubin and his company Premier Green Painting. A very famous architect named William Krisel designed my house. Krisel has been inducted into Palm Springs Hall of Fame for his work as his homes dot the landscape there. And he has a number of places here in LA. So for me to decide whom I wanted to take over the re-paining of my space was very important. I wanted to honor the spirit of Krisel. So Adam and I looked at different books of architecture and design, color schemes of Krisels work, and we came up with something that to this day, is a stand out property here in Los Feliz CA.As people walk by, if Im out watering the plants, they actually stop and ask questions about my very unique property. They are intrigued as to how my space has such a refined and classic look, and how the colors really captured the mid-century modern feel of Krisels design.
