1 I can teach you to play the piano by ear and how to read music. 2 I can coach you to sing as a solo artist or background singer and can offer many great techniques that can be applied both in live and studio settings. I’m interested in learning more about you, your goals, influences and current skill level. I believe each student is unique and I customize my lessons in a way that gives the maximum results possible in the shortest amount of time. I’m happy to meet you at your own pace as a hobbyist or to really challenge and push you to the professional level. I consider either way a great success as long as we’re having fun! Why should you learn from me? - I have a bachelors degree in music from The University of the Arts. Shortly after graduating I went on tour with John Legend and also have collaborated in the studio on almost 50 major label albums with various artists in the hip-hop, R&B, pop, country, rock, jazz, classical and gospel genres. I’ve taught at The Kimmel Center and quite a few of my students have received full scholarships to some of the most prestigious music schools in the country including Juilliard, Berklee and The Manhattan School of Music.
