Hello, there! My name is Christopher Hewitt. I am a professional Pianist, Music Director, Conductor, and Vocalist who has recently graduated from the prestigious University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music with a B.M. in Piano Performance, c/o 2012.

I can provide a variety of services. I am a private piano and vocal teacher in Stockton and Palo Alto, and travel to cities all over the Bay Area to teach. I am also a freelance pianist who can play at funerals, weddings, auditions, church masses, confirmations, private parties, accompanist for rehearsals and recitals, and choir pianist. I am a seasoned Music Director with experience Music Directing shows in San Francisco several times. I am also an avid church pianist and currently work at 3 different churches in the Bay Area.

Christopher played for us on Saturday at an outdoor redwood grove chapel. His music so fit the occasion and location. No electricity was no challenge for Chris. He drove three hours to be with us. A very dedicated professional musician. Looking forward to an opportunity to hire him again

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a rate for teaching out of my apartment in Concord but I can also travel to piano and voice students all over the Bay Area subject to a distance fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will discuss the opportunity with the client via phone or email, we will correspond and talk about the details, and then move forward from there, whether it's scheduling a trial piano or voice lesson, coaching, or scheduling a wedding, funeral, church service, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's of Music in Piano Performance from the prestigious University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, and I graduated cum laude in 2012. I worked extensively on music history, music theory, accompaniment, conducting, chamber music, and much more.
