Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Most of us in the industry are competent and will do our best. However, I go the extra distance by being thorough and responsive, and taking on the customer's needs and concerns as though they were my own. Level of knowledge and analytical skills are important aspects of problem-solving: I have 20+ years experience in electronics engineering, and have design-level knowledge of flat-panel LCD/PLASMA technology, solving problems with new products as a consultant for major manufacturers. Whereas most technicians know what parts to replace for standard problems, I specialize in solving unusual problems not yet identified in Service Manuals. I have written over 35 Technical Reference Manuals in my engineering career. I put my design-level engineering experience to work for my customers.

TV Repair Services

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I prefer a flat-rate quote based on the TV's characteristics. Hourly rates are a burden on the client. How long it takes to perform a repair depends on several factors, but experience is key. The customer should not burdened with one's inexperience.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I manage my own household as I would a profitable business. "Low-bid" is not my top priority; QUALITY is. We will always get what we pay for, no matter how much we try to fool ourselves. Having said that, I start with the best service provider, then I will try to negotiate the price within reason (they are making a living without a government handout and I respect that). But knowing when to "back-off" is just as important. I appreciate quality service, and in the end that's what I'm really after.
