My programs are designed and curated around each individual client that is built around long term sustainability - there are no quick fixes or magic pills that I can provide you. However, my training style is focused on building a foundation for each of my clients to become successful with or without my training guidance in the future. -I work in a private studio gym; meaning you'll never feel judged or self-conscious, there will never be any daunting eyes, and you’ll never have to worry about overcrowding.

I found Sydney through thumbtack. I was looking to get some personal training for my wife and I. Sydney first wanted to meet us to hear about our goals and understand how she could help us meet those goals. There are several things that make Sydney an incredible trainer. She knows her stuff and knows how to communicate during the sessions. Some of the motions were new to us but she was able to explain them to us so we could pick them up quickly. Sydney is also very talented at understanding your capabilities and making you walk the line of pushing yourself without ever overdoing it. Sydney has a way of making sessions not just fun but informative and life changing. My wife hates to sweat and hates exercising more but Sydney makes our sessions feel fun and by the end we have usually learned something about our capabilities. We always look forward to going to her gym and seeing what new techniques we are going to learn. I strongly recommend Sydney and always bring her up when my friends are interested in starting some personal training.

I was looking for a personal trainer for my 15 year old grandson who is visiting me for two weeks. We interviewed a few individuals and Sydney was by far the most willing and attentive to helping him prepare for fall sports. She is excellent and focuses on him and his needs.

I was so nervous about working with a personal trainer because I absolutely hate working out and find it intimidating. But Sydney is so great at explaining each exercise -- she's patient, clear and supportive -- that it makes everything feel way more achievable. The workouts are never easy (I always ache sooo bad after each session, which means it's working!) but the environment is positive and motivating. I don't feel stressed like I thought I would be. Instead, I feel excited to try something new. And that's really a testament to Sydney and her training style. Highly recommend!

Sydney is such an amazing trainer! She’s super responsive and is always checking in on you. Always listens to you and moves at a pace that is comfortable for you. During sessions she’s always making sure that your form is correct and pushes your limits to your full potential. She is very patient and very friendly! Her workouts are never boring and adjusts as you get stronger. She’s definitely the best trainer I’ve had.

Sydney totally changes what workout means in my life. Before meeting with Sydney, I had stress eating problem, and to lose weight I often did unhealthy dieting on my own or did running/yoga without liking them (and therefore couldn’t persist). I was also a slow learner in sports like tennis and snowboarding because I didn’t know how to use my muscles. However, when I told Sydney about my goals (losing weight, body shaping) Sydney was able to quickly put up a workout plans for me, starting with basic ones that help me get familiar with my muscles and build my confidence in workout gradually. Sydney is also very knowledgeable in human body theories and can explain/guide me to use the right muscle anytime I have difficulties. Based on my progress, Sydney adds fun challenges to help push my limit too. Sydney’s professionalism and patience made me feel very excited and self-fulfilling about every workout. Sydney also provides really detailed advice on how I can enjoy eating without feeling guilty. Even for occasional pigging out, she would let you know how to prep your body for before it and mitigate its impact afterwards. As a result, I’m happy with where I’m in terms of muscle development and weight. But most importantly, I become more comfortable about eating healthy and enjoy working out as a lifestyle.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    For first time clients, I offer a one time 5 session package that allows you to see what I have to offer as a personal trainer, gain trust, and see if we are compatible to work together. Personal training can be scary - just as anything new is, however, this package offers an especially good deal for first-time clients who are hesitant and are not completely ready to commit to larger session packages.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    When working with any new client my main priority is to set up an initial consultation that is completely free with no pressure in signing on. This consultation will include addressing any pains, injuries, or areas of concern for every client. After listening to your specific goals and performing a quick, but thorough assessment I will explain the plan on our journey together. I find that all my long-term clients find it helpful to see the vision and hear the steps we are going to take to get there in achieving all goals.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    +I have a national certification as a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Science under the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am also currently studying Fitness Nutrition Specialist under the National Academy of Sports Medicine. +Associates Degree in Kinesiology, Psychology, and Sociology +Majoring as a Dietitian As a full-time student, I spend many hours studying human anatomy, physiology, and biology through classes while simultaneously researching on my on time. This enhances my job as your personal trainer in not only understanding you as a client, but also comprehending the muscle mechanics, origins and insertions, and natural movements our bodies are capable of. I pride myself in understanding the breakdown of our own mechanics in order to provide a well thought out program that will not only help correct any aches and pains but helping you reach your goals.
