Introduction: Hello, my name is Jerumel Laygo. Over 15 years of professional cooking experience, I am highly skilled in cuisine ranging from Asian, Spanish Traditional French, Italian, Vegan, Dr Sebi, and Mediterranean cuisine. Experienced in high volume and fine dining menu planning. I have worked under Wolfgang Puck, Cafe Pinot, and Michelin star Chef Kevin Meehan of KALI restaurant. I helped open 1st and Hope in 2009 I opened La TABELA in 2010 and helped open the Topanga Table in 2012. I graduated Le Cordon Bleu Program in 2007. In 2008 I traveled to Barcelona, Spain and Paris, France to further my studies. In 2013 I traveled to Costa Rica and furthered my studies in Plant Medicine. Since then, we have grown into a full-service catering company called LaTabela.

Chef Jerumel is spectacular and an absolute master of his craft. He and his crew bring a unique, fun and captivating energy to the party. Not only are they there early prepping to deliver their top notch service, but they really make you feel like royalty. The food is delicious and artfully made. The entire experience is phenomenal the desert display is epic! Jay’s crew has heart and they very passionate and well orchestrated with Jay at the helm. It is evident the amount of respect his crew has for him by how well they perform and follow through. Not only do they make things happen, they work well with challenges and gracefully at that. Jay provide an experience one can’t and won’t forget. His crew will bring life and happiness to the party… Hands down the best chef and crew around!
