WHAT EACH SESSION LOOKS LIKE Each session is 100% customizable and may vary depending on how you are feeling that day but generally sessions look like the following: > foam-roller and/or yoga tune up balls (sometimes manual stretching as well) for deep tissue massage to loosen everything up > warm up - deep breathing and yoga/dynamic stretching > strength training - will involve dumbbells and kettlebell weight sets > mobility/skill training/peak pose - yoga pilates strength flow (can add martial arts inspired movements) > cool down core - core pilates > meditation/deep breathing/savasana Hello, my name is Sarah, founder of qnsyoga, inc. for over eight years. qnsyoga, inc. is a mobile yoga studio specializing in highly customized private yoga lessons in the convenience of your home or outdoors. *please note: qnsyoga private yoga training sessions are preferably 90 minutes long per lesson. Even more one on one personal time, a really profound deal. Being South Asian American I understood the power and importance of Yoga and deep breathing since I can remember. Pre-med in undergrad, I am heavily educated, trained and obsessed with yoga, functional movement strength training, Pilates, Martial Arts, anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. Born and raised in Queens, NYC – I received my First-Degree Black Belt in Martial Arts at the age of 15 and right after undergraduate, I dived into a top yoga training in Manhattan, NYC at Atmanada Yoga. Shortly after I enrolled into one of the top Pilates trainings in the world, The Kane School in Manhattan, NYC. For two and half years I've also worked at multiple physical therapy clinics under some of the most prestigious PTs in NYC. In the past eight years I have trained an outrageous amount of private clients to athletes, models, actors, dancers, high level CEOs, NYC's top lawyers, doctors, seniors of all ages, post-rehab patients, pre and post-natal women. Solution driven. I have suffered from persistent neck and back pain since teenage years. Nothing ever worked. I found that I was very weak yet still really active. I am a New Yorker at its best; workaholic, into fashion, healthy eating and pretty well educated. I spent years running around the city with my mind running with it. I deeply needed a solution. For over ten years, after consistently practicing deep breathing, meditation, Yoga, Pilates, Martial arts, strength training and Ayurveda, I felt the difference almost immediately. When combining all these wonderful components, I suddenly became calmer, happier, pain free, stronger and more flexible. This practice continues to amaze me and I want nothing more than to share that with everyone I train. Sarah has in-depth knowledge of physical therapeutic exercises. Being a teacher, I am always on my feet, using my voice, stressed out, etc. and she helps to target all of these issues while simultaneously giving me a full body efficient workout. Each lesson is customized to my mood and how I am feeling that day but often a lot of repetitive movements to track my progress. We do a combo of strength building and stretching as she incorporates both Yoga and Pilates principles. I am often very busy and having the convenience of Sarah coming to my home makes my life that much easier. Sarah is a great yoga instructor and I am stronger physically and mentally because of these private lessons, I thank her.

I pulled a muscle in my inner right thigh more than 7 years ago and I never truly healed from it until I started private lessons with Sarah about 2 years ago. She made me aware of so much! She works hard to stretch and strengthen the muscle. She taught me that everything in the body is interconnected and interdependent and therefore aims to stretch and strengthen the body as a whole. She cares a lot and is willing to create workouts for me to do alone. I stand taller and move with great awareness ever since these lessons.

The combination of stretching and strengthening did wonders for my back! Having private lessons makes such a difference because there are so many things I don't realize on my own. The smallest adjustment makes it an entirely different workout! She also taught me how to do stretches while at work sitting at my desk all day - she is awesome and you will not be disappointed!

Sarah is amazing! I've had many Yoga Instructors since hurting my back and she is the best I've worked with. She goes above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it. She knows a lot about yoga and strength training and is always willing to go into details on how and why we are doing a particular exercise. She's also a PT Aide among being a Yoga Instructor and I think the combo of the two works a lot in her and my favor. My body has never felt so good and I've never felt so healthy!!
