Introduction: Hi! My name is Zach, and I recently graduated from medical school. In the next year, I'll be taking on a few students per week to provide one-on-one tutoring in the fields of biology, chemistry, math and standardized testing. In my tutoring sessions, I draw from my experiences as a researcher at UCLA and as a medical doctor to make lessons more engaging. I've found that incorporating real-life examples into the work (for example, when a student is learning about osmosis, mentioning its relevance to red blood cells) makes the learning process more enjoyable and helps the student better retain the information. I'm easy-going, flexible with my schedule, and try my best to create a light-hearted and comfortable learning environment, since stress in not conducive to learning!
