- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our Training Philosophy Camarillo Canine makes dog training safe, fun, and fulfilling for you and your dog. We focus on effective and reliable solutions that put your needs first. The Fundamentals - Building your relationship. Learn to use classical and operant conditioning; train using markers, commands, and reinforcement. Train dogs utilizing things they enjoy. Training your Dog - Build a bond that lasts a lifetime. Learn luring, shaping, and targeting to create behaviors. Camarillo canine gives you and your dog what you need: Knowledge, dedication, and consistency.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took my first job as a reactive dog walker in 2012, working as a handler for private clients through the years. Recognizing my passion and skill, I founded Camarillo Canine Training. As head trainer, I specialize in pet dog training and rehabilitating dogs with behavior disorders. My dedication to animal welfare extends to my volunteer work with the Ventura County Animal Shelter since 2018, where I fostered and trained dogs in need. I founded Camarillo Canine to to achieve unlimited public access and behavior disorder rehabilitation for all dog owners.
