Our 2 year old rescue dog came with some challenging behavior but Isak made our life better! He taught the dog and humans how to behave and what were appropriate expectations. I had no idea a 2 year old lab could be so well behaved. Thank you Isak!

Isaacs training was a game changer for our family. He helped us train our 1.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog rescue who was really skittish with loud noises and new people. She also had issues with resource guarding her food and didnt know how to go to the bathroom outside. She stayed with Camarillo Canine for the board and train and she came back an obedient, calm, and happy dog! Isaac taught us her commands and worked with us in a few private sessions to ensure we knew how to enforce his training. Now shes fully potty trained and crate trained and we can take her on new adventures every day. We couldnt more grateful for his training. Thank you Camarillo Canine!

We have a 6 month old golden retriever puppy. We signed up for in home puppy lessons with another trainer and after 4 weeks, we felt it wasnt a good fit. We were unable to walk our puppy using the methods we were shown. Our puppy would just pull and choke himself trying to run out in front. We decided to search for another trainer and found Camarillo Canine. Were SO happy we switched.Weve been working with Isaac for a little over a month now and we went from being frustrated to enjoying life with our puppy. Isaac was able to introduce different methods of training, then asked for feedback and made adjustments. Today, we took our puppy (And 2 year old) on a walk, he stayed behind my left pant leg the entire time and was watching me to lead him. What a night and day difference from a month ago. Weve enjoyed every session weve had and will continue more sessions. Its nice that were training life skills (Come, Heal, Lay, Drop it, etc) and not Tricks. Thank you Isaac for all your knowledge and love for dogs. Its very clear that this is serious passion of yours and you make it easy to work with.

When we got our puppy after not having had a pet for over 30 years, we felt like new parents! We were so fortunate in finding Camarillo Canine. Isaac has worked with us in not only her training but also for us in understanding our pup. He is gentle and at the same time stern when needed. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took my first job as a reactive dog walker in 2012, working as a handler for private clients through the years. Recognizing my passion and skill, I founded Camarillo Canine Training. As head trainer, I specialize in pet dog training and rehabilitating dogs with behavior disorders. My dedication to animal welfare extends to my volunteer work with the Ventura County Animal Shelter since 2018, where I fostered and trained dogs in need.
