FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my pricing simple and fair. I usually work on a project-based quote, so you know exactly what the job will cost before I start — no hidden fees. Small handyman services like furniture assembly or drywall repair are priced individually, while bigger projects such as kitchen or bathroom updates are quoted after a free on-site visit. For hourly work, I have a minimum service charge of $130. This covers time, travel, and tools for smaller jobs. I’m flexible with budgets, open to using materials you’ve already purchased, and I always explain the costs upfront so there are no surprises. I’m also happy to offer discounts when appropriate and always open to discussing different ways we can work together. My priority is quality results, honest communication, and making sure every client feels confident in their investment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with a new customer, I keep the process simple and transparent: Initial Contact – We discuss your project, goals, and timeline by phone or message to make sure I understand exactly what you need. On-Site Visit (if needed) – For larger projects, I come to your home to take measurements, inspect the space, and offer professional recommendations. Estimate & Agreement – I provide a clear, detailed estimate. For small handyman tasks, I can often give a quote right away. Scheduling & Work – We agree on a convenient time, and I complete the work efficiently and with attention to detail. Final Walkthrough – I check everything with you before finishing, making sure the job meets your expectations. My goal is to make the process smooth, professional, and stress-free for every client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I developed my skills through years of hands-on experience in remodeling and handyman work. My background includes drywall repair, furniture and kitchen installation, framing, flooring, and full bathroom/kitchen remodels. Before moving fully into remodeling, I also worked in designing and building exhibition stands and trade show structures. This creative experience gave me an eye for detail and design, which I now bring into home renovation projects. I hold a California CSLB contractor’s license and continuously update my knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and new materials. This combination of formal licensing, practical training, and design background allows me to deliver both functional and aesthetically pleasing result
