About
I cater each lesson to the individual child. I respond to teaching your child by develpoing a relationship with them and seeing what works for them. In my opinion there is no one way to teach a child, they are all different, I will work with the parent also so that we are on the same page as far as what they want out of the lessons. Some kids are on track for the swim team and some parents just want their kids to learn survival in the pool. I will be honest with you, some kids are ready to swim at two and some not till four. I want their lessons to be a fun time, so I'll do everything possible to ensure they are comfortable. I don't mind if a child protests but if they are unconsolable during lessons, I may recommend that we wait a month or till next summer. I want you to get your monies worth out of your lessons:) I love watching the kids conquer their fears. They are so proud of themselves!

Jennifer 30 minutes late for first lesson. No call. Didn't show up for second lesson . She did not call me or return my calls. Very very rude!!
Bubble Blowing Basics's reply
I went through a very traumatic situation last summer and I apologize I was not my usual professional self. My family has gotten through the trying situation and are excited for a new swim season! I would invite you back for 2 complimentary sessions to make it up to you. Again I am very sorry. :)

She was amazing with our two four year olds. They were terrified of lessons in the beginning but she worked with them to gain their trust. She is not to firm but not to easy on the kids! They went from sinking like rocks to swimming with their heads above the water across the pool in a matter of two months... Thank you

Very patient. Worked around my schedule. My kids loved her!! They went from being scared of water on day 1 to holding their breath under water on day 3. Have a 2 year old and a 4 year old!! Price is very reasonable . Highly recommend her.

Jennifer first gave my daughter Alia lesson when she turned two. Alia was swimming that summer. Jennifer was excellent in not only her teaching practices as a swim instructor, but also in communicating with myself and Alia. Great swim instructor and cannot wait to get my two year old twins in the pool.

My daughter loved it, when she was finally stopped crying. Jen was really patient.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You need to find the right instructor for your child make sure to talk to them and understand and agree with their philosophy. And don't be discouraged after one lesson if your child cries, says they don't want to go back, stick with it, it is a normal response but after a few lessons they will be begging to go....
