What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We bring you competing bids and help you to negotiate prices with the contractors and we will give you as many as 5 options. Contractors are responsible for paying Birkenstock Home a referral fee. In most cases, Birkenstock Home can find you a contractor in the lower end of the market range.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an intake call to get the scope of the project and target start date. Whenever possible we try to get a ballpark by pictures and measurements.
We will then schedule one or multiple visits for precise estimates.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 11 years of recruiting background qualifying staff for corporate positions in several industries, including construction. I've been a homeowner for over 20 years and managed extensive home remodeling. I am pursuing Interior Design Certification and have an application for sales license with the Contractors License State Board.
