I hired Jose to install a new light fixture. This required new wiring. Jose was professional from beginning to the end. He came on time and did a through review of the job to provide an estimate. Light fixture required drywall work. Jose did a professional job in patching and painting the wall. He made the wall look nothing happened. Moving forward, he is the only guy I would recommend and hire. If you are looking to hire an electrician, he is your guy. Don't even bother wasting your time with anyone else.

Jose was prompt (early even!) and quick to respond to all of my messages and calls. At first there was a mixup regarding the quote and what material I needed for the fence. Jose explained the price difference and he purchased the materials I needed that morning to make sure he could finish the project that day. He was very pleasant and easy to work with, and the fence looks great!

I decided to go with Juan's company for the fence work and did not regret my decision. He's professional and expedited the work to within a couple of days. It's a 4 star right now and I'll probably upgrade to 5 stars, once the second phase of the project gets done. Juan gets the job done fast and right and he's very communicative.

I recently purchased a home and needed several jobs done, ranging from simple to complex. I needed shelves put up in the laundry room, a new mailbox, rafters in the garage, bathroom shower installed, doorbells on both front and back doors, screen door for the patio, hanging (and leveling!) wall decorations, outside wooden fence general maintenance, and more! Once the weather breaks they are to come back and assemble a gas grill, fix a downspout, fix an outside light, and other jobs I have for them. They are professional, neat, very affordable. I have and will recommend them very highly! In the meantime, I will be adding to my list of things I need done!

I hired Donaldo & Manuel to remove the popcorn ceilings in my condo and to also remove the 'orange peel' texture (ugly, 'pimply' drywall finish sprayed on by drywall contractors) that was on every single wall. The last step was to paint the entire place. D & M came to my house to bid the job and I received a quote the next day. They came over to my house second time to show me samples of smooth drywall texture finishes to choose from. They were on time, asked questions and answered all my questions. Much of the 1st day D&M was on the job was spent prepping my unit. I recently had new laminate flooring installed which was a big concern for me considering there were so many messy, scraping/drywall sanding and painting steps to follow. Each day great care was taken with the prepping for whatever step was being done. The first step to be completed was the removal of the popcorn ceiling. The second step was putting a thin coat of drywall over the existing texture, letting it dry, lightly sanding and then smoothing and lightly texturing the final coat of drywall mud for the finish. The last step was rolling the paint on the walls and painting the trim color. The crucial and important thing for me was the care that D & M took every single morning to re-lay plastic and paper covering over my new floor. Every evening they would remove it and clean up meticulously as possible before leaving. It was amazing. D&M arrived every day promptly at 8AM and worked a full day. They were friendly, courteous and very concerned with my satisfaction every step of the way. They always asked questions, never assuming anything which was great. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat because this 6 day paint job was done with the utmost concern for quality (theirs) and satisfaction (mine and theirs) at every step. Jason showed up on time for the estimate and the day he cut down the tree in my back yard. He did a wonderful job taking the tree down without damaging the surrounding fence, house or sprinklers. He cleaned up throughly afterwards. Very happy with the job performed!!!

Eddie and his team of painters were highly professional and did a wonderful job painting the entire interior of my home in 2 days. They were always on time and worked non stop to complete the project on schedule. Their work ethic was second to none, and they did a beautiful job painting my home for a reasonable rate. I am so glad I hired Eddie, and I highly recommend his work.

Jaime came out quickly and provided a reasonable bid for a short stretch of fence. I wasn’t sure what color to do for the fence, as the rest of our yard fence is either brick/ rock or iron. Jaime identified a stained gate and suggested that we stain the fence to match - great idea! He created a cedar fence to fill gaps where we couldn’t finish the brick wall. The fence was completed in a day, which was awesome because my dogs had been locked in for a couple of weeks while the brick wall was being built. Jaime was on time, communicated well, listened to my requests, and completed the work on time. He left the site neater than when he began. Jaime has extensive experience in concrete work. Definitely call him if you have a concrete job, as well. The last two days, Jaime has been working on my neighbor’s gate! They were so impressed with him they hired him on the spot when they say the work he did for me.

Jeff the Painter did a wonderful job painting the exterior of my house. Of the three quotes I got for the job, his was the lowest. Jeff has a contractor's license for painting. The other companies had licenses but the people who held them lived in Northern California or another state. Jeff assigned a crew to paint my house but Jeff inspected daily and worked with his crew so they knew what to do and in what order. The crew was led by Jeremy and all the crew were polite, efficient, fast, and cleaned up as they went along. Jeff was very easy to do business with. If anything he was too relaxed. Where the other painters provided detailed quotes about what they would or would not do, Jeff's quote merely stipulated the number of colors, that he would paint the house, and the price. That doesn't mean he cut any corners. I had forgotten to ask Jeff to paint the frame of my house numbers (address number) a different color from my house. I mentioned it to Jeremy and he offered to repaint it which he did. Overall I couldn't be happier with the way the job was done and the price I paid. I was thinking about repainting part of the inside of my house myself, but seeing what Jeff can do and how quickly has me thinking of hiring him for the job. I definitely recommend that you hire Jeff The Painter for your painting project.

Nicholas was hired to paint our backyard fence. He responded to my questions in a timely manner and kept in contact with me until the job was completed. He did an excellent job. The fence wasn't in great shape but it looks terrific now! I would not hesitate to hire Nicholas again.

I am a recent homeowner in Escondido, Ca and I looked on thumbtack for a contractor and that's when I first found Luke Carr Construction which was an excellent choice. My old house built in the 1920s needed to be completely remodelled, there were holes and cracks in the lath and plaster which other constractors were leary of working with lath and plaster. Luke fixed all the walls, rewired all the electrical in my house, including new ceiling fans and can lights as well as new deco switches and outlets throughout that I purchased from Home Depot. He also painted the entire 4 bedroom house each room with a different colour I selected. He refinished the original hardwood floor in the house as well as the old chipped and base floor moulding, which came out superb! He opened walls and doorways to expose more of the kitchen and bedrooms, he created matching arch ways to match the ceiling. At first I was nervous because I've never done this before but in the end it looked even better than I could visualize and it created a more open atmosphere, I've received lots of compliments from family and friends about the unique arch ways. He also gave me advice on landscaping and didn't charge me to replant some of my trees that were put in too deep (took two hours), and gave me advice on the exterior which is the next phase of my home. He is an excellent painter, clean and neat, matches existing texture perfectly the other contractor said he would try but couldn't guantee it would match. He also did additional electrical work in the bathroom and advised me to add extra outlets in the living room that I didn't think I needed but really have helped me bring the house up to code. Overall Luke is a trustworthy guy and is very respectful of my choices, he gets the work done, he doesn't have a lot of the modern technology like 3D imaging and I don't believe he has a website but his dedication and old school ways worked beautifully for me and my job. He prides himself on his family life, I met his grandchildren on two different occasions and they were sweet. I'm looking forward to having him back for Phase 2! I've recommend him to two of my friends, one of which used him and she was very satisfied. Patricia

I needed a new fence carpenter to build a fence and add a wall inside my home that was being remodeled. The fence looked beautiful and the wall was done well so I decided to ask if they also did bathroom or kitchen remodeling work. Bill said that he had a wide range of work he could perform or manage for me so I started small and had them redo a small bathroom. The bathroom work included cabinets, bathtub, shower walls, new travertine floor and painting. After the bathroom was complete and saving up for a few weeks we moved on to the kitchen. He assisted in the design and layout with the designer. The work took several weeks but it was beautiful and was much better than the drawings. After several months of work on my home, it is perfect with there help. I can't thank them enough and will pass there info on to friends.

After a phone chat, I sent Mr. Duin an e-mail outlining the projects I had in mind. I asked him to help me select those that fit into my quarterly budgets. Together we selected three that needed attention this winter. 1. stabilize a wobbly 6 foot block (gate) wall that was inches from a gas main, 2. Build a short block wall that would hold back dirt from a muddy embankment, 3. Reinforce a swaying wood fence and wrap metal posts with cedar – box style. Mr. Duin and staff did an outstanding job of listening to my needs. I was impressed with their work, quality of materials, work ethics and attention to detail. They were very pleasant to work with and I look forward to our next round of projects. I hope to include the trim/molding (with up lighting) along the ceiling of my front porch which will have to wait until early Spring – due to budget considerations.

Sergio Flores was fantastic. He came to give me an estimate the same day I called. His bid was very fair and he started the repair to my bamboo flooring the very next day. His crew worked into the night to finish the job in one day. I also asked him to bid on my fence repair and the exterior painting on my home. He is working on my fence today. I like that he bids the labor and material separately. He is easy to communicate with (I don't speak Spanish). I would definitely use him for all of my future projects. I have already referred him to my neighbor for her fence repair. When you find a contractor that can handle various projects, is prompt and honest, I hold on to them. I am willing to share him once he finishes my projects. Mary Malone 760-450-6215

Casey has done several jobs for us over the last few years, including full inside and outside painting of our house. The outside jobs included overhang and bottom of the back wooden deck were spot on. He did a great job on new stair railing, cabinets and staining our front yard fence, including a separate area around the pool. He is prompt, efficient, clean and reliable. All of the various jobs have been done in the timeline he projects and discusses when he gives us a bid. The results are impressive and immediately improve our property value. To date there haven't been any problems with the jobs Casey has done and I don't anticipate any. If a problem were to arise, am confident that it would be handled professionally. I'm looking forward to getting our kitchen floor replaced next.
