What can be said of working with Amy? Only one thing: she is absolutely amazing at what she does. Teaching—just as singing—is not an easy skill, and she does both incredibly well. Within just a few lessons— and some take home exercises—I have an unwavering confidence in my ability to learn how to sing. Having spent 5 years training others as well, i have picked up a few tips and tricks from her style that I can use. She’ll teach you, but also give you the opportunity to learn on your own with direction and feedback along the way. Don’t take it at face value, work with her and find out! Bring a notepad for notes.Jun 10, 2019VerifiedAmy Voice Training's reply

I have in taken singing lessons with Amy since I was just a little tot. In that time I feel like I have grown in my singing, my confidence and my stage presence. Amy will help you with whatever you need all you have to do is ask. When I needed a place to film an audition she let me use her studio and helped me with my song. In result I got accepted into a professional theatre festival. If you need her she will find time to see you and help with whatever you need. I am also interested in working in film and television, and she has experience in that field so she gave me helpful advice. She is flexible and will always make up Lessons. Taking classes with her is worth the cost. Secure your spot with Amy today !Dec 19, 2019

Singing Lessons (for adults)
Amy is so nice and is a really great teacher. I always looked forward to going to our lessons and was sad when I had to move away from San Diego.Jul 25, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I recommend paying monthly. Not only does this secure your time slot every week, but it also forces you to be consistent. I require 24 hours notice before a cancellation so that you are not being charged as a "No Show." My schedule is very tight and if you can't make it to your lesson and fail to let me know, it's a missed opportunity for someone else to schedule a lesson. For 30 minutes, it's $35. For the first lesson I charge a registration fee of $5.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first month is typically just getting to know your personality and your voice. Every lesson is different for each individual. People have different needs based on what their hang-ups might be with singing. Some people may have a great ear but not a lot of confidence. Some may have a lot of confidence but not a great ear. So my teaching style is largely dependent on the student.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Of course, as I said before, I consider myself a lifetime student. I still take lessons to this day and a lot of what I learn, I end up teaching to my students.
