We offer California childcare courses -- pediatric First-Aid and child CPR. We also offer preventative health and safety. Rates are $80.00 per person for pediatric First-Aid and child CPR, and $80.00 per person for preventative health and safety, with a 6-person minimum. $150.00 for both classes, with a 4-person minimum. Pediatric First-Aid and child CPR: This 8-hour class is recommended for the childcare providers. It is approved for daycare providers. It teaches you to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants. It also includes pediatric First-Aid and injury prevention. Students receive a community First Aid and safety book and CA childcare preventative health and safety book. This class is Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) approved. Preventative health and safety: Learn about preventing infectious diseases, handling food safely, caring for ill children, recognizing and reporting child abuse, and preventing childhood injuries. The class is 7 hours long. The certificate does not have an expiration date. Unlike most of our other classes, the certificates are mailed after the class. They include a sticker issued by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) with the participant's EMSA registration number. We also offer babysitting training classes for $60.00, with a 6-person minimum.
