Introduction: It's more personal. If you have a favorite trinket or a photo that has special meaning for you, we can turn it into a bracelet or pendant instead of keeping it in a box or on a shelf. If you have a particular style, we can take that style and let you unleash your inner creativity into your own set of matching (or mismatched if that's your thing!) jewelry! The whole idea is to find you and have some fun, instead of just going out and buying someone else's idea of you. Interaction with different people and seeing all the variety of styles that come out of their work. Some of the most interesting clay art I've seen has actually come from the elementary students I've taught! The boys actually have more fun that the girls sometimes, because in 4th and 5th grade, they are all about creating very weird superheroes...with very diverse crosses between animal species :-) Anyway, adults and children alike, playing with jewelry making has been by far more fun than my previous life working in a laboratory.
