FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I take classes locally and I also subscribe to 2 websites besides taking classes online when possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ah, I have covered this once, but don't mind repeating myself. I moved here from the midwest two years ago, where I worked in a laboratory full time. Jewelry making was always part time for stress relief back then. When I moved here to lovely CA, I took my the jewelry trade as my regular gig! And I'm loving it. I hope to pass this love along to anyone else who finds it a great stress relief too.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Pendant making is by far the biggest of requests. Polymer clay is a huge media for kids and some adults as well. Wire media is popular, but resin casting is on the rise. And as of lately, bead bracelets with a charm are huge.
