FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$40 per hour with time rounded up.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Furniture assembly is pretty cut and dry. I set a time and date, show up, do my work, get paid, and leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have assembled over 300 pieces on my own and in the year I spent working for SPAR. I've also been employed by Assemblers Incorporated and built over 600 pieces in 6 months with them. I have great spatial awareness, the ability to precisely and accurately follow directions, and the visual acuity to perceive how the final product will look and how the pieces should fit together. As for non-assembly related skills, I have 3+ years of customer service and retail experience. I make sure to communicate and get clear instructions before I get started. I ask questions whenever there may be doubt. And I'm able to communicate problems I may run into honestly and offer solutions.
