Besides being a wonderful, warm, positive and caring person, Jamie really knows her stuff. I met with her twice and we devised a plan to help me eat better and to help with my gluten sensitivity. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Many times I work on a sliding scale. It's important I still provide service for those who come to me in need.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Education: Certified health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NY; Bachelors degree in communications with a minor in journalism from Oakland University. Experience: I have been passionate about health and wellness since I began working in gyms during high school. I was a wellness attendant and kickboxing instructor at a Michigan YMCA during college. Prior to moving to CA, I was taking community health education master's courses. A job transfer brought my husband and I out here, so I had to seek courses elsewhere. Becoming a certified health coach through IIN was a great educational move. I learned over 100 different diet theories and gain valuable knowledge to help clients transform their entire lives! I am blessed and honored to do what I love and be able to share my passion with others! Outside of my health coaching business, I enjoy spending quality time with loved ones, hiking, travel, strength training, cooking nutritious meals and practicing yoga.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Mainly women between the ages of 30 and 65 who want to lose weight, gain energy, reduce stress, and eat healthier foods.
