FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I try to avoid trendy magazines and celebs being my barometer for fashion and lean more heavily on time-tested fashion truths. I do enjoy reading up on fashion and interior design theories, as well as reading about the lives and journeys of fashion gurus. Some of my current favorites: Stacy London & Carol Tuttle
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After spending a year revitalizing my own wardrobe (self-taught), I began revamping my close friend's closets and helping to maximize their wardrobe potential. Then they started to tell their friends about what I'd been doing for fun and how they've enjoyed it... and the rest is history! Background: I have a Bachelors in Art and a Masters in Leadership.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take a look for yourself to see if what I wear is cute or not. If your stylist isn't practicing what they preach - don't hire them.
