I have known Kolten for a number of years and was happy to hear that he decided to get into the personal training career. I had been looking into improving my overall fitness level and mobility because I am getting older. I also had recurring shoulder soreness and I wasn’t sure how to exercise to alleviate the problem. It is easy for me to schedule workouts with Kolten, and when I went to the gym he is punctual and professional. Once we determine what my exercise goals are, we get straight to the workouts. At my request, Kolten designed a variety of workouts to make sure that I get a full body exercise. I find that Kolten is encouraging and motivating. He allows me to break down the purpose of the various exercises and provides me with the feedback in my form because I rarely used weights. Currently I am trying to use technology for training during the shelter in place orders. I had my doubts, but video conferencing is more effective than I thought. Kolten has been able to adapt his instruction for me, and his workouts are just what I am looking for. Exercising in my garage has it challenges, but I have been able to make adaptations, and Kolten’s programs have ranged from moderately hard to very hard in intensity. I am happy to be a client. Kolten cares about my well being and fitness. We get along as a trainer and client, and I recommend Kolten’s Functional Fitness to anyone who is looking to improve their fitness level in a safe, efficient manner.

Kolten brings high quality, extensive, client focused workouts with professionalism and care. His customized, comprehensive programs allow the person to improve their general conditioning, continually progress in building strength and enjoy a better quality of life. For three months, Kolten has been working with my 88 year old father, who had multiple recent hospital stays. The advancement I already see in my dad's recovery is tremendous - I am impressed with him getting stronger, more stable, thus safer on his legs and feeling a greater, overall sense of well-being. I look forward to further elevation in my dad's fitness by staying the course with Kolten.

I am NOT a workout person. Kolton is working with me to achieve my goals. I have lost 32 pounds and now need to build my strength. He pushes me to do MORE but not to the point where I don't want to do ANY.. My "strength" and "endurance" is becoming so good and it's because of Kolton. PICTURE is before and after. Very proud of myself and because of Kolton I will continue to be proud of myself.
