The crew showed up on-time and worked diligently to get the job done. This was not an easy task, concrete and stone was removed from a back yard through a small hallway.
We were extremely happy with the work performed by Mr. Fix It (Fred Kimmey). He removed a bathroom vanity, light fixture and mirror and replaced with new. He was able to trouble shoot and take care of the fact that the new unit didn't quite fit where the old unit had been. He made adjustments and completed the work. He left the area clean and took all the debris with him. We will be using Mr. Fix It again soon to install a wardrobe closet.
Vyron showed up when promised and picked up all of the scrap metal I had after removing a flue and fireplace. He left the area clean and spotless. Vyron was polite, quick, and very reasonable. I would definitely hire him again for my next job. Many thanks.
Bogdan did a great job removing my old sink and installing a new one. He came at the last minute and worked late to make sure the job was done. I would hire him again, no doubt.
Mike was great to work with! Very communicative and the nicest guy! He and his team removed the popcorn from my ceiling, retextured, and painted all in record time. Unfortunately, getting the paint color even on my ceiling proved pretty challenging, but Mike and his guys came back not once, not twice, but three times to do touch ups! I'm very impressed with their willingness to make sure their customers are happy!
I'm so glad that I decided to use Mario's services! We recently purchased our home and some of the paint colors (golden yellow!) needed updating. He and his team arrived on time, didn't cut any corners, protected everything (including removal of window treatments and putting them back up), were professional and friendly, and were done within a few hours! I am so pleased with the job that when I hire painters again, I will definitely use the Marz Painting Company.
Rich and his crew did a great job removing the popcorn, retexturing and repainting my ceiling. He was very accommodating and found a way to work around my ever changing schedule. I highly recommend his services.
After popcorn ceiling material was removed, Jose bid on the job to paint the uneven surface that remained. His was the only bid to specifically address the job we posted. When contacted, he responded immediately and was friendly, professional and upbeat. He did an excellent job at a reasonable price. We definitely recommend him.
Victor and his crew were fantastic! The C&C crew were meticulous in removing the old paint, repairing gaps and keeping a clean organized work area. They worked with our schedule and were able to apply the FOUR colors the way we wanted. Highly recommend C&C Painting!
I contracted with Jose to remove the popcorn ceiling and apply a new texture for my ceiling. He was simply outstanding in doing the work on time and within budget. I hired him on the spot to paint the condo as well as make other fixes. Jose is trustworthy and dependable--and most importantly, his workmanship is great. I plan on hiring Jose for my future home needs and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for work.
I just had the interior painting of our home completed by Osbaldo. There was also removal of wallpaper and the installation of crown molding in three rooms. Osbaldo went above and beyond to complete my project and did a wonderful job making our home look beautiful! In fact, we have already given Osbaldo another reference!
My husband and I found Pedro on Thumbtack. We reviewed his website and liked what we saw. We had a house to fix up after Tenants had severly abused and damaged the house with holes in the walls, broken pipe and restroom fixtures etc, etc. We needed a well experienced handyman who could handle most anything. Our house needed new doors, paint and miscellaneous repairs. We also needed someone who could remove popcorn ceilings and retexture walls. We met with Pedro and liked him immediately. He is kind, professional, reasonable and fair in his pricing and just a all around good hard working man. My husband and I were in need home repairs as we were moving in. We were also heading on vacation and needed someone we could trust to do the job while we were away. Without knowing much, we felt we could trust him and we were right. Pedro is exceptional in his work and he kept us up to date while we were away. When we got home, we were pleasantly surprised by his work. There were some minor issues we brought up and he fixed to our satisfaction immediately. My husband and I highly recommend Pedro. He is one of those rare workers who take pride in their work and is honest. By the way, he did some tile work in our bathroom and is looks beautiful. I could go on and on, but Pedro is more than welcome to give out our number for reference. Suzanne and Marty Verhaeg
I cannot explain how grateful I am to have met Economy Home repair through this app. They were fast, friendly, and the service was impeccable. I had recently been working to restore a 1912 Craftsman style bungalow in Oakland, and then accepted a job in another state. Bad planning for me, but luckily I had Thumbtack and Economy Home Repair there for me. They we're first contracted to remove the aluminum siding that was wrapped around the house, then, we needed them to fix or replace any damaged shingles from the original siding, and then lay a coat of paint over it all! They got that done in a couple weeks!! Later on, I needed their help to finish up some tile work, and to put up some Sheetrock in the 2nd floor. They got that done with no hesitation. Again, I cannot be more grateful for that team. They deserve 100 stars.
We are very pleased with the jobs that Dan & Lito did for us. They removed old carpet & wooden floors and then laid 1000 sq ft of tile, replaced the baseboards and then installed some gutters outside. They were always on time and left the house very clean when they were done. We will definitely find more jobs for them to do. They were a pleasure to work with.
We first met their team when a salesman cold-called us. It took us a while to make a decision about what we wanted to do, but once my wife and I decided to move forward, working with Shmuel and his team was excellent. I can't say enough good about them. The project involved removing a bathroom, adding a bathroom, removing and remodeling a kitchen, adding hardwood floors, adding a gas line, upgrading an electrical box, moving HVAC ducts, wiring and hanging a chandelier, tile for a fireplace and mantle, and painting. There were structural walls that needed to be modified. They promised to get the job done in six weeks, in time for an important family gathering we had planned. We were skeptical, but bet on them, and they came through. In any project of this size, there will be unforeseen issues that come up. In all of those cases, Shmuel was excellent to work with. Some examples are: - Once we saw the lighting in the new kitchen, we wanted an extra light over the sink. He tore-up some of his work and added it and charged us for the hardware only. - We wanted a cabinet added by our front door and another by our laundry room. He added it to the work without question, and charged only for the hardware. - We decided we wanted to replace the stair railing. He helped us find bids from railing experts, and charged us the bid without any contractor markup. The extra work disrupted his planned work schedule, but he worked around it to make sure we were still done on time. - The vent over the kitchen range appeared too low to us, even though it was within code. He replaced and installed the cabinet with something smaller. No charge. - With all the demolition, he accidentally lost our Nest thermostat. When this was realized, without any questions or me having to ask, he apologized and picked-up a new one, at his cost. Some other examples of the excellent service: - Shmuel and Shalhevet helped us pick paint colors and pick kitchen appliances and cabinet styles, traveling to a number of stores with us. My understanding is that most contractors would just tell you to pick something and leave you to figure out the details. - They allowed us to live in our home during construction. At the end of each day, they spent time blocking-off areas and moving equipment (as required by code) to make the site safe for our children. He could have easily just insisted we spend a month in a hotel. - All the little things. For example, we never discussed replacing the flooring HVAC vent covers; he bought beautiful new ones that matched the wood floors we chose. We never discussed replacing outlet faces, but he felt it wasn't right to repaint and leave the old worn outlet faces. They are highly recommended!
Hired Peter and his crew to remove carpet on our staircase and landing. He did a great job - good communication, very clean, and a reasonable price. He brought a second person to help out so the job was quick. Five stars!
This is a reference letter for Michael Ngo. Its done in appreciation for all the beautiful work at our home. Michael remodeled all 3 full baths in our house, including all the electrical and plumbing work. I asked him to remove all 3 old full baths and rebuild all 3 as brand new. Unlike other contractors I had experience with before, Michael is one step ahead. He has strong attention to details and an uncanny eye for style/color coordination/design/functionality and has superior workmanship. I bought my house around 15 years ago and had remodeled my bathrooms once after we bought the house (before we met Michael). The previous contractor did a horrible job and I hated my bathrooms for many years and decided to remodel them again few years ago. I came to know Michael and asked him to remodel one full bath downstairs first just to see how it goes. I told him that I wanted a more traditional look that is suitable for both male and female taste. The result was fantastic and I loved it! Michael took the time to check out the various stones and cabinet designs and when he decided that he formed the right picture in his mind with the various styles, he took me to choose the stone, the cabinet, the faucets, etc. I would pick out of his recommended choices. But sometimes I would look at something else and asked him why he didnt recommend those other ones and he would tell me why he didnt think that they were suitable and after hearing his analysis, I would always go back to the ones he recommended. And I couldnt really picture exactly how everything would finally come together, but he will always reassure me his usual phrase Dont worry, it will look beautiful. I can assure you I am extremely picky. And sure enough, every time the final result looks beautiful. After I remodeled my downstairs guest suite full bath, I couldnt wait to let Michael remodel both baths upstairs. I told him I wanted a contemporary look for the full bath for my sons room. And I wanted a classic and romantic look for my full bath. Both of which came out beautiful and I love using all my bathrooms now and I proudly showcase to all my friends and relatives when they come visit. Michael did a lot of work for my master bath upstairs because I wanted a totally different layout because the old layout was not functional. I wanted more space for the shower and I wanted the toilet to be separated from the shower. He redesigned the space for me so now I have a much bigger shower and the same space looks a lot bigger than before and I asked him to put in a Jacuzzi tub as well. He also added mood lights with dimmer for romantic feel (he took me to pick out the wall lamps at the light décor store), recess lights, etc. He added power outlets in the toilet room (my husband specifically wanted outlet plugs right next to the toilet)! Installed vents for the toilet room and the shower room All in all, Michael and Reliance Home Improvements crew did a great job remodeling my bathrooms and I love and enjoy the results every day and will sing Michaels praises to everyone I highly recommend Michael and his crew if you are looking to remodel your kitchen or bathroom .
I had tile installed in my bathroom and laundry room. I have had many compliments on how beautiful it is.
Mark was wonderful to work with. He responded quickly to messages on Thumbtack and via text. He was punctual and flexible with our schedule. He walked through everything with us, listened to our concerns and needs, and worked with us to stay within our budget and timing, and sequenced projects accordingly. He also has a great sense of humor and was pleasant to talk with. We were very happy with his work and the work of the professionals he worked with for electrical, plumbing, and painting. The work that was done: removal and replacement of 2 windows, walls, and flooring where there was water damage, wood rot, and the start of mold; adding a door to access the space under the front stairs and creating a storage space with tiled floor and drywall; waterproofing / sealing the brick of our front steps and porch; removing carpeting and laminate flooring and installation of new laminate flooring; installing siding on the front of our house and painting of the front of the house (2 stories); texturizing and painting walls; installing a wet bar / kitchenette; replacing shower pan, tile, and shower door; removal of tree and bushes in front yard. I think that’s everything. We highly recommend Mark and would happily work with him again.
Kieran is very helpful and detail oriented. I had Kieran help me removing the roof extension and terminate the electrical to my poolhouse. He also helped to patch the wall and retore the gutter pipes. Did a great job and even helped to get the permit from the city. Will consider for futuer jobs.

I am a self-experienced man. I work for myself, but no job is too big for a hardworking man. I do cleaning, painting, and junk removal.
