Elaine Brovont is a tai chi and qi gong/wellness and fitness instructor in a medical fitness facility focusing on using mind-body practices and exercise to improve health and fitness.
Her clients include athletes, baby boomers and the elderly who present various fitness goals. Some of her clients are challenged by Parkinson's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other morbidities.
She is experienced in training individuals with diverse backgrounds and fitness levels, including baby boomers, the elderly, the obese, and the trained athletes. Elaine has worked in corporate fitness, health clubs, retirement and assisted-living facilities and donates her time to coach youth soccer.
She is an experienced tai chi and qi gong practitioner and instructor, currently teaching Yang 24 and "The Harvard Medical School Guide to Tai Chi: 12 Weeks to a Healthy Body, Strong Heart, and Sharp Mind," a Harvard Health Publication.
