I have used their services in the past and I am renewing my review. (05/26)I used Al's Professional Moving again for my 2 bedroom apartment move and honestly the experience is why I trusted them years ago in the first place. I had used them before for a smaller move and remembered them as being organized, careful and professional, so I booked them again. They were totally on top of things from start to finish.The crew showed up on time with a clean moving truck, professional equipment, furniture blankets, shrink wrap, dollies and all the other things you need to make a smooth and efficient move. They walked through the apartment with me right away, came up with a plan and took care of everything in such a coordinated and communicative way that the whole process was stress free. I had heavy bedroom furniture, fragile kitchen stuff, electronics, glass pieces and several challenging stairway turns, but the movers were careful and took their time, not rushing or damaging anything.Most impressive was the efficiency and experience of the team. They worked quickly but with attention to detail. All furniture was carefully wrapped and protected, and they made sure to keep walls, door frames and floors clean during the move. The team was respectful, polite, hard working and kept us informed of updates throughout the day. They also helped with the furniture arrangement in the new apartment rather than just dumping it all in random places like a lot of moving companies do. The price was fair and transparent and there were no hidden fees or last minute surprises. The customer service from booking to completion was excellent and the scheduling process was simple and professional. It is hard, really hard to find a reliable moving company in Southern California that can provide professionalism, speed, organization, and customer care like they do.I highly recommend Al's Professional Moving to anyone looking for professional movers for apartment moving, packing services, or just movers in general in the Corona and Inland Empire area. I used them years ago and again now for a full 2 bedroom apartment move and I can confidently say they are one of the best moving companies I've dealt with. Thank you Al!

Things started out fine. I decided to go with Als moving service due to the good reviews and decent pricing. They showed up on time and started the job as planned. They quoted one day for packing and one day for the move itself. The packing day seemed to go smoothly. The moving day is when things took a turn. As they got closer to filling the truck, it became obvious that they had misquoted the job. I rented a small U-Haul ahead of time just in case. Even after filling their truck AND the extra U-Haul that I paid for, they still needed to return the next day to do another load. Clearly they severely underestimated the size of the job. During the move I witnessed mishandling of a dressertwo of the movers were arguing about how to move it up the stairs and one of the movers pulled the dresser from the hands of the other. It smashed onto the stairs and broke the dresser. They decided that they could just glue it back together. I allowed them to attempt that but the drawer would no longer open and close properly. That was a $1500 item that they destroyed due to neglect and unprofessionalism. After the move was complete, I discovered that one of my TVs was damaged. After I tried working with Als moving to order parts and repair the TV, it turned out that it couldnt be repaired. Another $2000 item completely destroyed because the crew clearly ripped the cords from the back of the TV damaging the internal components. It is now sitting in my loft until I can junk it. All in all, Als moving service cost me thousands of extra dollars in additional costs because of the misquoting of the job itself and the items that they destroyed.When I spoke to the owner, he reassured me that his pricing was competitive and the best he could do was compensate me $235 for the damaged items because they are only responsible for $0.60 per pound of the damaged items. I am very disappointed in the way they conduct their business. I have a text message from the owner stating my team expressed that they were tired and it led to mistakes. He also went on to assure me that his team has been retrained following my move to address the concerns with the behavior that led to the damage to my propertylike that makes me feel better. Retraining your crew after the fact does nothing to remedy the damage that was done. I will never use Als Moving again and I urge anyone that reads this review to pick another company. They will not respect your personal property or do the right thing if something goes wrong even when they agree that it was completely their fault.
