Solomon did an outstanding job on my bath room remodel. Solomon took the time to make sure all facets of the job were performed to the highest standards and made sure the site was cleaned up each day. I am very satisfied with the job Solomon did and highly recommend his services.

After stripping off plaster and lath from my hallway for a remodel, my electrian noticed a broken roof beam in the attic crawl space with a "makeshift" brace complete with a tire jack for support holding up the beam. My house was built in 1926. I also noticed a bit of bowing in another beam that needed some bracing. I knew the broken beam needed to be replaced and the bowing needed some bracing. I had 4 contractors come in to check it out and none of them seemed too enthused to tackle the job, nor did they even seem to know how to go about it without extensive damage to the outside structure except for Solomon Ka'ne of SK Fine Homes and Construction whom I found on Thumbtack. The contractors wanted to either go thourgh the roof or break open the upper wall. They were wishy washy in their approach while scratching their brow for solutions. Solomon said he could do the job by working through the existing opening in the hallway and could complete the job through the crawl space. By doing the job this way, his bid was less than half of the others. I liked his enthusiasm and positive approach to the issue so I hired him. His professionalism and end product was every bit worth the price I paid him. He was on time with his assistant Joe, had all of the materials he needed and did the job in 5 1/2 hours. I highly recommend Solomon Ka'ne and will certainly give him future referrals. Thanks Solomon for a job well done.

After hearing all the horror stories about general contractors, I will admit I was a bit reluctant to even add the master bath on to my home. I submitted a query on Thumbtack, and Solomon responded within minutes. He gave me such a great bid, that after only interviewing 2 other contractors, I gave the job to him.
I was impressed from the beginning about how responsive he was, always answering my emails, calls, and texts right away. He was here at 7 AM every morning, and stayed until all the rest of his crew had gone home. He must be a neat freak like I am because every day he would clean up things so that they were cleaner than when he started that day.
My job was a complete master bath addition to my bedroom, and he finished the job in a month and 1 day. He was such a perfectionist that even if I couldn't see anything wrong with some little piece of trim or something, he could, and would do it over until he was satisfied it was right.
I know that I asked him to do more than what he originally bid on, and he gave me a very fair change order quote, but then he actually went above and beyond my expectations, to create the most beautiful bathroom EVER!
I just can't recommend him enough. Hire him and get your job done quickly and perfectly, at a fair price!

We just moved to San Diego from Atlanta and found a great old 1925 Spanish home in North Park in need of a remodel. We needed a total bath gut job, all of the indoor, out door repainted, doors reworked with hardware replaced, stucco repaired, a bonus room build out, accent tile work in the courtyard and roof.
Soloman from SK Fine Homes submitted a bid, we accepted and he immediately tackled the massive projects. Its been a little over 4 weeks and everything has been completed beyond perfection. The work far exceeded our expectations! Details such as accent boarder work on tiles, matching paint to particular accents, making sure doors worked perfectly, tile work laid out with precision, and of course the entire projects ran smoothly, on schedule and everything done so well.
Not being from the area, we really did not have many connections. We are fortunate to have our project managed by Soloman. Our next remodel will be our kitchen and we plan to call SK Fine Homes back to lead this remodel.
