Drywall Repair and Texturing
Ken did a fantastic job on drywall repairs at my retail store! He was professional, kept in touch the whole time, and his price was more than reasonable. I'll definitely hire him again!Dec 27, 2019Verified
I hired Ken to take care of a couple of small electrical and plumbing problems issues I was having. He showed up exactly on time and completed the three jobs (repair light switch, leaking water heater and sink) quickly and very professionally. He was very easy to work with and very thorough in making sure everything was handled to my satisfaction. He even gave me a small refund for a part he'd purchased for my job but didn't end up using. I will call him again for any household problems that might come up.Feb 2, 2017Verified

License Type: B - General Building Contractor (CA)
License Type: A – General Engineering Contractor (CA)
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have an hourly rate that is between 25-30$ an hour, depending the job? I charge either a flat rate for the job ( labor + material) , or I do time (hourly rate) plus the cost of materials
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? After I receive a call, I try to respond within an hour, I check my phone often to check for calls. I then discuss their repair or building project over the phone to get an idea of size and scope of the work. if it sounds like a job I'm qualified for i'll set up a time to do an on sight inspection, take some possible photo's and then write up a written quote for the potential customer. If we agree to go ahead we'll set up a start and schedule the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've work in the construction field on and off most of my life. I've worked as an apprentice, worked in commercial and residential maintenance and have had my own business for 15 years. I am a licensed general contractor, but prefer more handyman type work-I find it more rewarding. I'm also a journeyman machinist, for 35 years.
