- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For a one-time intensive consultation re Interior Design or Home Staging we charge a flat fee of $400 which covers up to 2 hours. For more involved projects we offer a flat fee per room/space to develop a comprehensive design plan (space planning, cad drawings, flooring, wall color, surface materials, furniture, window treatment and lighting selections as well as an estimated budget.) If you want us to implement the design we either charge by our current hourly rate or a percentage of the total budget. This is something we discuss during our first complimentary meeting.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We sit down for about 5 minutes and get acquainted. We talk about your particular design project and needs and look at the space. As we go along we take notes and give you some of our thoughts on how we can realize your inspiration. Taking the time during that first complimentary visit is important to get an idea of how we work, because we will be working together for the remainder of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master's in Fine Art from the Netherlands, where I was born. With my Interior Design Certificate from OTIS College of Art and Design and more than a decade in fine art framing and conservation matting, my overall art background provides me with the unique skills to be an effective Interior Designer, Art Consultant and Color Consultant.
