I highly recommend BeVirtual for website design, e-commerce and marketing! I reached out to them for a new website about a year ago. I had a bad experience with a prior web designer who was unreliable and scatterbrained. BeVirtual was very professional in their approach and presentation. Made a timeline and stuck to it and met deadlines. Most importantly, they made me feel secure and supported if anything went wrong, which to me in the most important thing. If I could give them more than 5 I would! :-)

This was the worst experience by far in my 30 years of Marketing and using 3rd-party vendors. I clearly described in details five (5) design projects in my request on Thumbtack. Mike from Appnet reached out to me, he hones in on the homepage redesign project, I'm thinking because it would be the most involved between all the other small design projects. I had a lengthy conversation with him about many things all webpage related. Afterward, I reminded him about the other request one for a print trade ad, particularly. He gave me a verbal quote, I accepted his quote, gave him my credit card number to pay half up front and his promise for a follow up was that someone would call me Monday morning (this was a Friday evening). Around 4:30pm or so Monday afternoon, I had to reach back out to Mike to let him know I haven't heard from anyone from Appnet all day. Shortly thereafter, I received a response from someone that said, Mike unexpectantly could not make it into the office today, but that someone else would call me and follow up. 2:00pm Tuesday afternoon, no one has yet called, and the first part of my project is due on Friday, we're now at Tuesday afternoon. I called and someone named Lisa answered the phone, she kept trying to tell me she'll deliver my message and have someone call me back, as I tried to explain to her that so far the attention to customer service was really bad, and that time is running short, no one even took the time to send me an email, or nothing, if I hadn't made the call, that Monday at 4:30pm I would not have known anything about Mike unexpectantly being out of the office, as well as on Tuesday, the project would not have begun if I didn't call them. Mike called, informed me of personal sad news he received, over the weekend, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because I understand family first. I had another call w/ Lisa this time she had a designer on the phone with her, again they are mostly asking questions about the web banner part of the request. I mentioned to them about the other design request and let them know I will send all assets to them by the following morning. I honor my word sent them sell sheets w/ product information, videos they will be using, logos, and other assets, everything they will need to successfully fulfill my request. I get an email back from Lisa, who says she is confused and that I added on new things that weren't discussed. Now I'm starting to boil over, I took a screen shot of my original request on Thumbtack, mentioned to her Mike was fully aware. Then I get a call back from Mike who starts his call with a coy laugh and goes on to tell me that the project request on Thumbtack basically means nothing, and that he only quoted me for the web banner, and that he didn't recall us speaking about anything else, which was interesting since I particularly asked him about the print ad, and he actually mentioned someone's name who would take on that part of the request. Instead of apologizing for their lack of communication, broken promises, and very poorly written email that accused their new client of adding new stuff to the request, and pretending certain discussions did not happen, as a professional agency, Mike should have chosen to make good of his promises to fulfill the request that I sent out on Thumbtack and that he accepted. Because it was clearly written in detail in the description area of the Thumbtack form, if he felt he could not fulfill the project, he should have never accepted it. It is now Wednesday, and because of their lack of concern for their clients time and business, I'm forced to have to find a new agency, who I will have to give very short notice to fulfill projects in three days. Excellent Customer Service along with a professional demeanor can make up for so much, if that is missing, it really doesn't matter about how long you've been in business, or your great work, you have lost a great client and future opportunities. That is a Truism.
