Nina's String Studio

I have been teaching for more than 15 years and am passionate about helping students develop their musical skills and confidence. I am a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) in Lakewood branch, which enables my students to participate in the Certificate of Merit (CM) program. I encourage my students to take the CM evaluations each year, which include music theory, sight-reading, and performance. This comprehensive program helps them build strong musicianship, discipline, and confidence. I also host one or two student recitals each year, providing opportunities for students to perform and show their accomplishments. Many of my students also participate in competitions throughout the year and perform in youth orchestra programs outside of school as well. The most rewarding part of teaching is watching my students grow as musicians and individuals. Seeing their progress, confidence, and accomplishments brings me great joy and inspires me to continue helping each student reach their full potential.
