Max was available the same day, he stopped by to replace a leaking tub spout. I had a few units to choose from but he went home and got a model that does not leak long term. Great experience. Would hire him again.

My 10 year old gas water heater sprung a leak. I logged onto Thumbtack at 8:30 p.m. and by 8:45 p.m. AMX Plumbing agreed to meet at 8 a.m. the next morning. Max arrived on time and explained how and why the problem occurred and within a couple of hours installed a new heater. Most of all I appreciate his immediate reply and his quick work. He is professional and pleasant to work with... I would highly recommend. Also his prices were fair and close to the lower range of costs I googled before I signed onto Thumbtack.

Had a water heater that suddenly started leaking. Max responded by phone within minutes and was onsite within about an hour and half arriving earlier than expected and worked on installing a new one.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with new or prospective clients I like to review with them their needs first, and give them the best quality of work that is most cost effective for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2002 i obtained my plumbing contractor state license in the city of San Bruno contractor school. I also did four years of my apprenticeship prior to 2002 in the Bay Area and I have had my own plumbing business for 12 years. I continue to keep myself educated with current city and states codes law requirements.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been good with my hands with mechanical things and I was fortunate enough to work side by side with a very well known and respectable plumbing contractor for many years.
