Repipe Specialist subcontracts out the work. All Pro Repipes Inc. was the subcontractor who installed the new copper pipes throughout my home. There was a crew of 9 plumbers, and they removed all the existing pipes and installed all the new copper pipes in my two story home in one day. It took them about 10 hours, the water was off for about 8 hours. The contractor came back the next morning to patch, mud and texture to close all the openings made during the repipe. They were neat and did a spectacular job.

Repipe Specialists are exactly that "Repipe Specialists". After discovering a leak in the copper pipe that drained our kitchen sink we were told our sixty-year old galvanized pipe had to be replaced.We received quotes from four other plumbing contractors. It was obvious the other plumbers did not have a lot of experience re-piping whole houses. Some horrified us as to how much of our walls would be torn open.I kept hearing a commercial in my head for re-piping. It finally came to me, Repipe Specialists. I called and Scott showed up.Unlike all of the plumbing contractors, Scott didn't want to inspect every plumbing fixture. He said they do so many homes he just needs to know how many fixtures we have. In few minutes we had a quote (one contractor still hasn't sent his quote). The price was lower than all the others whether copper or PEX and included repairing any drywall that had to be removed. Scott made it too easy not to hire him.In a few days, his crew showed up on time. By the end of the day all of our water pipes were replaced. Water flowed freely to our sinks and toilets.Next a crew showed up to fix the limited drywall that had to be torn out. The texturing matched the surrounding texture. Yes, we did have to paint it ourselves.I 100% recommend using Repipe Specialists.

I contracted with Repipe Specialists of the Bay Area for a house repiping. They were on time, and completed each task (repiping, wall/ceiling repair) within a single day. I have hot showers again, as well as more water pressure.They consulted with me about each outdoor faucet and what to do with them. They also explained all my piping options (and made a good case for going with PEX).My experience with them was excellent.

I had some defective Pex pipes in my new house (after just 5 years, the hot water lines sprung multiple pinhead leaks). The repairs were done under Pex warranty, and Pex had Repipe Specialist handle the warranty repair work. ALL OF MY HOT WATER PEX PIPING HAD TO BE REPLACED. I have a nice, new home, and the thought of having anyone start carving and cutting into my walls and ceilings at every hot water fixture site was disconcerting.Everyone with Repipe Specialists was incredibly professional, qualified and timely. First, someone came out to the house to scope the project. Then, Repipe Specialists scheduled their teams for the work. Out came a team to start cutting out walls and ceiling to access the pipes that needed to be replaced. The workers did an excellent job putting up visqueen plastic sheeting to protect areas of the house that weren't affected. It was a messy job, with 3-4 workers. Then, they replaced the defective Pex with replacement Pex piping. THIS PORTION OF THE PROJECT WAS COMPLETED IN ONE DAY, AND I WAS AMAZED. At the end of this first day, I had holes in walls and ceilings throughout my house, but I had full cold and hot water!About a week later, another team came to patch the holes, re-plaster and re-stucco (for outside access to the piping needing replacing). I have a more expensive "textured" plaster inside my home, and RP did the repairs perfectly. Again, this amazingly was done in just one day.About a week after the "patching," the painting team came in to handle the painting. I was worried that the painting would be "touch up," just painting over the patched holes. However, RP repainted the entire wall or ceiling, even if the patched area was just a small 3-4 square feet. Outside the house, where some stucco had to be repaired, RP repainted a whole side of my house. Again, just one day!WHEN THE JOB WAS DONE, THE REPAIRS ARE UNDETECTABLE. The painters even touched up a few spots in my house that weren't part of the repiping work. Repairs: perfect. Plaster/stucco: perfect. Painting: perfect. Clean-up: perfect.Do not hesitate to use Repipe Specialists, and if anyone has questions, feel free to contact me.

We contacted Repipe Specialists to repipe our house from the old galvanized pipe to new Pex Pipe as we had yellow brown water with no pressure in our shower, sinks, rust in the toilets. You couldn't turn on the sink while someone was in the shower or they would freeze as the hot water supply was the worst. From the time Randy came out and gave us our presentation on the repipe, we knew his knowledge and professionalism really impressed us and we took the plunge. The men doing the work took the time to protect all of our furnishings and flooring, were very efficient and knowledgeable, skilled and completed the repipe in the time quoted and maybe sooner. We were very pleased with the piping as now we have good pressure, clean water and no smell just like a new house. The city inspector even asked who had done the work as the walls were patched professionally and all piping was done to code. Inspector commented that it was one of the best jobs he had seen in this area. All we did was lighty paint. A lot of nice people were involved and we have already recommended Repipe Specialists to our friends and acquaintances.
