I cannot say enough about Thinque Prep and Joyee Lin. He is dedicated to his students success and does a very thorough job of preparing them for the ACT or SAT test. My son, Zack, who is very bright but requires a lot of patience worked with Joyee over the summer and brought his composite ACT score up from 30 to 33. His math score increased a full 4 pts. and he scored a 35 in English. Thinque Prep has other services related to tutoring and college application preparation. Zack will be working with Joyee on his college application essays. Joyee is in California and we are in Texas but this was never an issue as the sessions are done via video chat. The office manager Jen was great to work with and the appointment process was easy to navigate. I found the rates to be very competitive for like services. If there was a way to give extra stars I would!!

All I can say is thank you! Before Elite Home Tutoring, I had a difficult time writing essays and developing a strong thesis. Now I feel very confident with my writing thanks to you guys. You really helped me reach my potential with respect to my writing skills and helped me strengthen my grammar. The tutors are extremely friendly and very hands-on. I definitely plan on using them again! I also value the fact that they are extremely patient, attentive, and overall very experienced in what they do

Whenever I have a high stakes assignment, I take it to Oliver. He never disappoints. Whether its a History DBQ, an English literary analysis, or a letter of recommendation, Oliver makes it better. His analytical mind and command of the language are untouchable.

She is great! I was in need of a SAT english tutor in order to compete for a spot at the United States Military Academy at West Point. She showed up on time and if needed would stay extra to make sure I actually improved. I was extremely confident heading into my test and was accepted into West Point. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of any help with english. In addition, she helped me with writing a letter to West Point on why I want to attend. She is great!!!

Joseph Descans helped me with the editing of several documents. His knowledge and editing skills were outstanding, and his patience with the process was the best part. It can be tremendously frustrating when you have "writer's block" and the words just don't come out right, but a patient tutor is such a great asset to have in your back pocket!

Ms. Sohler is a patient and kind tutor. She works with my 4th grade daughter. When my daughter makes an error Ms. Sohler offers gentle correction, makes sure she understands the error, and can move on confidently. My daughter has made wonderful progress with Ms. Sohler. I have also viewed some of Ms. Sohler's personal crafting, and her results are exquisite - the things she can make fabric do are amazing!

About

I was asked to remain at a local elementary school even after the teacher I was subbing for returned. With district H R approval, I was asked to take over that class while the teacher on extended leave was asked to do assessment testing for multiple grades upon her return..This was a huge compliment to me and my abilities to create "a sense of community" for the students who had multiple subs and loss of continuity and progress. It has always been my pleasure to see a student become confident, even excited and inspired as they acquire new skills. I have enjoyed school so much that I often will enroll in courses for additional aptitude in subject matter, even after studying for a masters degree. Seeing happy faces after my tutoring is invaluable to me. Our futures depend upon being skilled for the workplace - for life! Confidence is key to success. Being a part of the network of educators has been one of my best decisions in life. I see instant results and immediate gratification when working with adults who are already in the workplace advancing forward!
