My first experience with a personal trainer was with Araceli. I was impressed with her professionalism and how her concern for me focused on my complete health. I have been training with Araceli for nearly two years, and I am always happy with the work she puts into creating my workouts. I have several chronic injuries that require modifications to traditional exercises. Araceli creates effective, modified exercises that maintain the purpose/outcome of the original. Additionally, she's always looking for therapeutic exercises (largely stretches and range of motion exercises) to help improve my abilities despite my injuries. Araceli is an amazing trainer. She is so knowledgeable about the anatomy of our muscles. I have a hip replacement, and she was the first person who taught me how to strengthen the muscles around the hip. Now, thanks to Araceli I don't experience hip pain at all! She also showed compassion and made me feel comfortable doing exercises that I had not done before. I lost 20 pounds with Araceli, and have kept it off for over a year now! Araceli made it seem effortless for me. She gave me a personalized meal plan that was easy to follow, and I felt satisfied and full with the meals I ate. The cool thing was she explained to me why certain foods are good for me, and why some are not as good. Understanding how the foods fuel my body really made sticking to the plan easy. Although I did not train in person with her, I follow Araceli on social media where she posts workouts and tips for training. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My pricing depends on whether I am driving to you, or if you come to me at a private gym I train at in Dana Point, CA. I am currently in school to become a physical therapy assistant and I attend classes in the evenings. Therefore I do not have evening availability Monday-Thursday.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like getting to know potential clients beforehand by talking over the phone more in detail about their goals and emailing a questionnaire in regards to their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology, I have physical therapy aide experience, I am a NESTA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, and I have a NASM Fitness Nutrition Certification.
