Andry Martinez

I’m a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela and I have teaching experience for more than 4 years with kids, teenager, and adults. I worked in my country in High School teaching Natural Sciences. Since I came to Davis, 2 years ago, I have been working as a babysitter, where also I taught Spanish to the kids. By own experience, I know the challenges and difficulties that people face when learning a different language. Considering not only language related things such as grammar, pronunciation or writing but important things like getting involved with the culture and be committed and perseverant. I’m very excited to start teaching and helping you in this new adventure in a comfortable and friendly environment. My class strategies are based on your own knowledge, skills, and goals. Together we will work and find the best studying program that fits your needs.
