The right foods can transform your energy levels, physical health, mental acuity and overall performance goals. My signature method holistically combines nutrition coaching emphasizing plant-based nutrition, nature immersion, behavior modification, and mindfulness for long-term and effective success. With each client, I create a customized and individualized plan based on their goals, daily schedule, and motivations. My method is simple: I coach and guide my clients through the whole change process. I recognize their emotional challenges and identify specific actions so they can reach their goal. These tools of plant-based nutrition, habit change, mindfulness, and overall behavior change are the same tools I used for my own health transformation. I know they work because they changed my life, and now I'm wholeheartedly stepping into helping people full-time so they can experience freedom and radiance. My greatest joy comes from partnering alongside people and helping them reach their goals. When I see my client transform into a vibrant, radiant, healthier version of their former self through proper nutrition, I know my work is meaningful and effective.

Julianne is really sweet! After meeting up with her she went over a variety of different foods that I could eat to get a healthier diet. I was really happy to have her coach me and suggest different options. She is really great and will do whatever it takes to see you succeed and have a healthy life. You get what you put in and what you ask for. Julianne is super understanding and willing to help, the first step is asking for it. She is a great person to have on your team! I am really happy I had the chance to meet her and have her help me make life changing decisions.

My beau and I started working with Julianne about a month ago after he was badly injured and was looking to make a change for his health. Julianne is genuinely kind, personable and has gotten to know James better than I for his culinary limits, food choices, and go to's. She quickly adapted meal prep & ingredients according to his comforts, likes, and helped him set up structured and reachable goals. She has been amazing to reach out to in a pinch for dinners out or staring blankly at the many, many choices in TJ's. Within the past month, we've learned many unique plant-based food combinations that keeps us engaged and focused. New Year, New Me! That's what I said last year. One of my goals was to improve my diet and nutrition. My fitness goals were on track but I felt the nutrition side of the equation was lacking. Plus, I was trying to reduce my meat intake and try a vegan/vegetarian diet. I talked to a few friends but couldn't find something that worked for me. I struggled through most of the year failing miserably at my nutrition goals. Things changed midway through the year. I meet Julianne at a meetup and we got to talking about endurance sports and nutrition needs. Julianne is a plant-based triathlete. I was impressed at her accomplishments and decided to book a session with her. She was patient as I asked a million questions. She helped me understand how I could improve my diet, and gave me simple ways so I could track success. I attended a few of her wellness retreats where she taught us more about plant-based nutrition and served us some delicious food. It was really exciting as I learned that my diet didn't have to be just tofu and water. Phew! Julianne helped me understand exactly what I needed to eat to feel stronger and perform better. I feel so much healthier and energized knowing what to eat. Having the right guidance has fast tracked this. I highly recommend her!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a Masters in Public Health and have been working as a clinical dietitian at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center for over 10 years. This experience provides me with a deep knowledge base of nutrition's role in diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and GI diseases. I also am a triathlete, so I have an extensive knowledge of sports nutrition and have consulted with Ironman athletes, for local sports teams, and gyms.
