We had Rose Remodeling replace our HVAC and all the windows in the house. The quick version: the contractors and workers were great but we encountered issues with our project coordinator, to the point where we're unlikely to go with them again for future projects. -- The long version: We are happy with the HVAC unit and windows, and everyone who worked on the projects was lovely and respectful of our time and home. We were originally thinking that we'd hire Rose again for our future planned renovations (bath, kitchen) -- but we likely won't. Why? Because of our assigned project manager, Morgan McClure. Perhaps she's got a heavy workload, but as the main point of contact, we faced quite a few challenges in terms of communication: 1) lack of follow up and follow through on communications. A few examples: -- She would promise to reach out on a certain time or day and would not. Once or twice is an accident or a busy day, but if I have to follow up days later for almost all of these promised times (i called out this fact in my emails with her too and it never improved), it's a pattern. -- There was a "manufacturer error" where a specialty window was made the wrong shape. Not ideal but it happens (guessing orders aren't verified for correctness?). We didn't hear about this from Morgan, however. The workers let us know on day 2 when they didn't find the correct shaped window, and we reached out to Morgan who confirmed this as true. -- At the end of the project we asked about the city inspection. She asked what time frame we preferred the next day, we replied, but didn't hear back from her. The next day, the inspector showed up at the door midday. We didn't know they were coming and were lucky we didn't miss them. Morgan also didn't let us know that the HERS report needed to have been submitted and apparently hadn't yet. She promised to get us the final signed copy once approved. Weeks later we still have not received it (just emailed them to prompt again). 2) lack of clarity in communications -- The original project was supposed to be completed by second week of August. When the above mentioned window manufacturing error arose and delayed project completion by 3 weeks, Morgan phrased her email as if we would receive a deduction in our bill for the inconvenience. We accepted the delay because of this, only to find out later that she meant "we will hold off on charging you for the last window until it arrives", which was NOT what was written. We paid what was owed but it was not a good feeling, and could've been avoided. 3) lack of responses (to some questions in an email, and voicemails left) -- She would sometimes miss questions asked in our email communications. -- I also left voicemails a few times (though most communication was via email) but maybe got a callback once. Now we did provide all this as feedback to Morgan and to another person at the front desk (who reassured us there are other project managers). But it didn't provide us a whole lot of confidence that a future bigger project with more moving parts would be better managed. On a final word -- I'll say that estimator Morgan Patterson is a heck of a salesman. He overpromised a bit on the completion date as salespeople often do (he said we could be done by end of July, which is part of why we signed with Rose... they did keep their promise to be done before mid-August aside from manufacturer error on the windows, so eh) but he did take time with us to explain and give us information about windows that were helpful in making our decisions. As mentioned before, the workers were nice and so far we're happy with the work itself. It really was a shame that the project coordination felt like it was our job to manage.

Details: 5 - 8 windows • Sliding (slides sideways) • Residential

Justice came into our home and gave the best presentation and honesty for our future bathroom remodel. She was very knowledgeable and we felt comfortable with options given to us.

If you are looking for a reliable contractor, look no further! Rose Remodeling has a great team, from start to finish we had great service all around. We had a variety of their workers in our home and every single one of them was so friendly and easy to work with. Every issue or concern was addressed timely, every question was answered, and they were responsive by phone and email at all times. Our whole project was done timely and we couldn't be more happier with the results. Thank you Rose Remodeling team!

We haven't chosen a bid yet, but Rose Remodeling is certainly making a good first impression. Morgan was at my house for the meeting exactly when he said he would be. He was extremely professional from beginning to end.
