Hello fitness family! My name is Nathaniel Rondez, and I’m a certified personal trainer based in Elk Grove, CA. I’ve been training clients since early 2019, but fitness has been part of my life since childhood through football and track. I work with adults and young athletes to build strength, improve conditioning, and develop sport-specific skills, especially for football and track. My own journey recovering from a knee injury and the impact of my physical therapist inspired me to help others transform their lives through movement. I offer in-person training and a full-featured online personal training app that makes remote coaching feel almost like we’re together in the gym. I cannot recommend Nathaniel highly enough as a personal trainer for young athletes. As the parent of a 12-year-old boy who competes at a high level in travel ice hockey, finding the right trainer was critical. Nathaniel has been an absolute game-changer for our family. From the very first session, Nathaniel stood out because of his deep understanding of youth athletic development. He truly gets the unique demands of athletics including ice hockey—explosive speed, agility, core strength, balance, and injury prevention—while keeping everything age-appropriate for a growing 12-year-old. His programs are smart, progressive, and never push too hard in ways that could risk overuse injuries, which was a big concern for us. In just a short time working with Nathaniel, my son has shown noticeable, measurable improvements: Faster skating speed and quicker first-step acceleration Significantly better on-ice endurance and recovery between shifts Stronger core and improved balance, which has translated directly to better puck control and stability during checks. Nathaniel is incredibly knowledgeable about the physical, mental and nutritional aspects of working out. He is dedicated, punctual, straightforward and methodical about his workout plans. I started training with him 3 months post knee surgery and less than a year later I am stronger, better balanced and overall more confident and able to enjoyallmy outdooractivities. He will help you achieve your goals whatever they may be. Absolutely 12 out of 10 recommend!

I was searching for a trainer on Google and came across Nathaniel. I've always struggled in the gym to make noticeable progress, but he helped make a complete 180 for me. It's quite uncommon to see the discipline he has and uses to help you reach your goals. And whatever they might be, if it's athleticism or pure strength training, he will get you where you want to be. Within a year I was able to put on over 30 lb of muscle and my strength grew considerably. He is particularly great at what he does and is always reliable. Definitely recommend!!
